On Air and Online Reality Programs are Hot. Whether it comes out as a Youtube.com addiction or a fascination with "make-over" TV shows the bottom line for a consumer today is you "just can't beat the real thing". Of course Reality programs are highly produced and often loosely scripted but as long as the talent are not paid actors consumers tune in and choose to believe. Product placement and guided topics are standards on Reality programs and people are happy to put up with an occasional product plug as long as they are educated, empowered or entertained.
